Tomorrow I'm going to Penang with my family to my Grandma's place for the family dinner, the 1st day of CNY there, and travel back to Kelantan on the 2nd day~
This year Josiah is not with us T.T Only the *beep* Big Bro Joshua XP~
I'm so tired but I swore to clear up my backlog of posts before going to Penang, so here's my account of my 'rather eventful' week:

22 Jan Wednesday
My wish for Tang Yuan during CNY were answered *_*. I had previously jokingly suggested to Joan that CCS should make Tang Yuan for CNY, and I couldn't believe it when I saw CCS/Stact Club ppl setting up the Tang Yuan stall, selling Tang Yuan at RM2 per bowl. It's surprisingly very tasty! The soup was very savoury, the dumplings were not too plain-tasting nor too soft, just adequately squishy ^O^ What's more it was a guy who made the dumplings and the soup! Just proves that you should never underestimate a guy's cooking LOL~
Went for ICB (INTI Concert Band) practice first time this year. Clarinet is not very easy to master T.T My sound is very soft and dull, and I can only play middle C till A, and occasionally B. Last sem I could play till E (two or three times with much effort T.T) I hope I can play B, higher C, D and E next practice.
And the world is small. Fancy how I met 2 fellow Kelantanese seniors, both from Chung Hwa, whom I've never met before swt. Chia Hong and Goh Li Yi, who play the drums and flute respectively...

During World Religion class, the lecturer Eddy Lee made us go into groups of 5 and discuss what we know about Hinduism. Note that there wasn't a single Hindu in our class, the closest being a Punjabi, Shervin, though she knows quite a lot about Hinduism. Most of us, including me knew little about Hinduism. I only knew that Hindus are vegetarians on Fridays and they apply their pottu after bathing in the morning before prayers (learnt from my friend Nisha). Surprisingly, we had a few detailed accounts of a Hindu wedding (the couple has to walk around the fire 7 times etc) and a funeral (cremation of the body used to be done in an open field, but not now; the eldest son borrows water from neighbours; during the funeral procession they will stop at a junction to shatter urns; the ashes are thrown into the river). as well as other interesting info (the ashes should be thrown into flowing water, e.g. river or sea; different temples are devoted to different gods etc)
But there were some less accurate stuff too...like one group said that like Hollywood movies 'preach' Christianity, Bollywood movies 'preach' Hinduism (I think she meant 'show a lot of'...in my opinion movies show a lot of church buildings being destroyed = =) and INTIMA's Bryan who was in my group talked about the pottu reminding the followers that they are made of dust and to dust they shall return-- which sounds a lot like Ash Wednesday for Catholics o.o
In conclusion, Hinduism comes together with Indian culture, and the religion is so diverse that many Hindus have different customs, rituals altogether.
After World Religion (4pm) I had planned to go to the library, but then Gerard was telling me about an interesting concept of Hell. Hell might not be a literal 'lake of fire' as commonly described, but a state completely devoid of God and everything that is good and beautiful. Since God gave humans the freedom of will, so humans can actually say 'no' to God. Perhaps Hell is the place for these humans who just don't want to be with God. Perhaps 'Hell' is God's way of giving them what they want. Some people have written about it on the net and you can easily google and read up if you like. I think that's where Gerard found it out from too :)
So instead of library, I decided to go back to room, since i will be going out at 6pm for Cultural Night. Before that I went to SAO (Student Affairs Office) to ask for the Event Review (ER) for last sem's Gathering Night, because I'm supposed to paste a copy of the account statement in the ER in the Treasurer's Book. However, the copy of the ER still hasn't arrived in Mr.Alwin's file... (Austen...dear Austen...)
Then I went to INTIMA (INTI's student council) to try to get back CSS' unused receipt book. There I met Anbin, a JPA senior/MAG club bigshot, who asked me if I wanted to play pool? o.o I never played pool before, so seeing as I was free(actually i still have some calculus exe), I simply went along~ Playing snooker wasn't as hard as I thought, and my performance wasn't as bad as I expected (still have to improve my pathetic aiming x.x) I played against Anbin's friend, a beginner too, and the first time I won by default coz he accidentally potted the black ball when he had almost finished potting the rest. The second time he had only the black ball left to pot when I accidentally potted it =.= Snooker game results are so unpredictable.

After that i went back to my room, and at 6.30pm went out with Anna to MPH (Multi Purpose Hall) for CNY Cultural Night 春序-迎春晚会. I'm too sleepy to talk about it now, but overall I think it was a great job! The performances were splendid! What's more impressive is that the ones who made the event were from my own batch, my friends! I salute Teng Heong, the Organizing Chairperson for organizing such a big event (not only the Cultural Night, but also the CNY Barbeque the night before, the Parade and the Carnival) and making it successful! I must salute Shi Ning, the Programme Master, who had designed such a quality program flow and inviting all the guest performers! Also Yih Ean, for the lovely stage decorations. Khai Ren and Han Lian (both JPA scholars from my batch) were the MCs together with Wan Jiun, and Khai Ren's jokes were so lame that he was seriously funny and Han was very professional~ I might blog about the event later (if I can steal good photos from my friends. for now i only have some recordings and crappy pictures in my hp, but i can't find the cable t.t) So for now I shall direct you to Jyo Lyn's and Khai Ren's blogs.

Almost overslept and almost missed my 9am Calculus class. Thankfully I have a roommate who is very 醒目(seng2 muk3) and she woke me up at 8.25am. And she even made milo drink (my 3-in-1 milo) and set out biscuits while I was bathing! Thanks Suk Sien~~
During Calculus i started having snivelling (runny nose), probably caused by lack of sleep+drastic change from hot weather to freezing classroom+freezing library+aggravated by dusty books from library...so I was dripping germ-laden-water from my nose all the while I was packing my stuff in my room TAT
Suk Sien and Sarah accompanied me to the bus stop and waited with me for the bus to LCCT. Thanks guys ^^! I had dinner at LCC (KFC's smaller than usual whipped potato and super small colonel burger which costed RM6.65). My flight, which was at 9.30 was delayed until 9.50pm O.O I was snivelling and damn sleepy while waiting zzz but meeting up with Yen Nee (Tan) made me wake up =D We sat together during the flight =)
About 11.30pm I finally reached home...Joshua was back ady.. zzz drank Papi's milo and ate some really delicious Dao Bao (豆包) Ahh feels so warm and secure being pampered by parents.....zzzzzz....great sleep
But I woke up early (should be 7+am, coz I heard Papi waking up) and couldn't get back to sleep so decided to get up after Mami got up. I guess my body is influenced by my roommate's good habit of waking up early. Hope this will continue LOL zzzzz not when you're blogging away at 3am idiot
